Johanna On The Move

Johanna is a reluctant model for my experiments.

I discovered a feature on my Pentax K10D which allows me to get more dynamic range with less ISO noise. It takes x number (from 1-9) exposures, and averages them, while maintaining exposure control into one RAW file. Similar to double exposure without the additive exposure – making it too light. High Dynamic Range within the camera!

It works best on immovable objects.

Johanna moved. Several times.

You get a sense of the possibilities when looking at the chairs. The only light is from 15 feet away from the left and the front.

Look for more of this, especially with landscapes. =)
