I took this of the centerpiece flowers – Azaleas – on each table at a friend’s birthday party today.

Let’s just say she’s turning a major milestone, and leave it at that.

Her family and friends came together at a clubhouse on Lake Springfield to celebrate.

Fran’s husband Larry had all the ladies get up to say something about Fran. That was a nice touch.

92 degrees F (33 C) today. Unreal for October.

We had a delightful time sharing the celebration.

These flowers are a reminder of the joy of friendship, planted and watered well, bringing blooms of love.
