It’s not perfect, but I like the elements in it.

I had my 50mm 1.4 prime lens on. It’s one of my best. I wish I had my 17-70mm macro Sigma on instead. Oh well. I had my camera out, that counted. =)

After choir practice, we spied this preying mantis on top of our director’s auto.

She’s not fond of bugs. At all.

We rescued her but, spent some minutes working with the beast, getting some model photos in!

My buddy Dan, had his Canon pocketable, which is an amazing camera. His all purpose lens has a macro function which is superb.

Dan is just out of frame in this one, with the bug looking straight at him.

We had fun, then the mantis jumped off.
