Driving home after work I spied this scene, hidden up a drive off the street I was on.

Of course, I circled the block and went back for more.

I had my Zenitar 16mm f2.8 prime lens on. I’m trying to learn it’s ways. Practice, always practice. =)

The sculpture used to be located just off the street. I’d see it every night on my way home from work.

I’m not sure what the sculptor had in mind.

It reminds me of a zero.

Perhaps it’s the building that it’s in front of: the Illinois department of Revenue. The Tax Man.

Maybe not.

The piece was moved a year or so ago, during a renovation project. I’m not sure why it was placed here. Perhaps to clarify the meaning?
