Life comes with bonuses at times.
I was at my brother’s home to take photos of my great niece Charlotte.
Katherine and her family came over to take her sister Carrie and baby Charlotte for a boat ride!
Katherine wanted to get up on water skis for the first time this year.
As I was talking to Katherine, I pointed my camera at her.
“I don’t want my picture taken!” she wailed, trying to cover up. Half-heartedly, I think.
One click, one great portrait.
Even if the subject was trying to avert my lens, I believe I caught that inner child. =)
Okay – if you know me – you know I don’t mind having my picture taken normally. But, after a long day, and less than desirable amount of primping – I was caught a little off guard with being the subject of the lens… I will say – I do enjoy the picture. It’s a great lesson for me to be less vain …
