As the wedding of our son, Christopher, grows closer, many tasks fill the day.

This evening, we gave ourselves a treat of a dinner out together.

We had a nice relaxing time, sharing the plans, and occasionally giggling.

On the way home, I had my camera ready, since the sunset looked like a good one.

This is one of a series I took as we traveled back to our nest.

My window open, my eye was looking for good framing for the sunset. Lots of overhead wires confounded me, but this one was almost perfect out of the camera.

Not too bad for traveling 35 miles per hour (~56Km/h). One eye on the focus screen, one eye on the road ahead. My co-pilot helped.

I love the serenity of this one. I need all the calm I can get at the moment.
