Keep Out
Saw an awesome sunset on my way home tonight. I have a clamp-on camera mount (pod) for my window. Pulled into the airport, and grabbed a few shots at different f-stops and timings.
This one is a crop, and run through “Allyn’s Vivid Dreamy Photos” action set http://flickr.com/photos/allynedmonds/269702280/ Allyn is one of my contacts on Flickr. Check his work out. Very nice.
Thanks Allyn for the action set. One day I just might create my own!

Pam & Don
A teaser photo from a bunch I took as a guest at my friends wedding.
My sister taught Pam in Kindergarten. Karen & I bought the Payton home when they moved just a few houses down the street when Don was about 10 years old.
That brought the Pennings and the Paytons close together for many years. Don & Chris (Yes, this one’s Don Jr.), have moved to sunny Florida, but came back for this wonderful celebration of love.
More photos shortly.

Alyssa
One of my favorite photos of a set taken in the Chicago Botanic Garden.
Alyssa was along for a photo shoot I was experimenting with on maternity photos, and asked me to take some photos for potential use as her senior picture.
This one was taken towards the end of the tour of the gardens. I saw the hedges, the narrow walkway and said – quick – go to the end of the path and start walking towards me.
Wow!

Lincoln Memorial Garden Stone Circle
This is one of the stone circles which are a part of the garden. When Lake Springfield was built, in the 1930′s, a very forward thinking philanthropist was able to carve out a sizable part of the lakeshore for a nature preserve. Starting with bare earth, Landscape Architect Jens Jensen created a legacy for the ages.
My son will marry his bride, Jennie at the garden next year. A very wonderful place to pledge their love.

Our 25th Wedding Trip To Kauai, Hawaii
This was taken with my beloved and departed (stolen) Olympus UZ2100 digital camera. One of the finest of it’s day.
We are in the Allerton Tropical Botanical Garden on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. I strongly recommend this island to anyone wanting to experience undeveloped Hawaii. It is full of interesting places and people.
These trees are a type of fig tree. The location was used for the movie Jurassic Park 2. All of the Jurassic Park movies used the Island of Kaui for it’s lush tropical areas and undeveloped nature.

A family portrait I did last year.
No, I didn’t tell the group to get in the tree – they did it themselves!
What a nice capture of their togetherness in the Fall.

Just a panorama of a windy, cloudy day at Indiana Beach at Chesterton, IN. Lake Michigan looking much like an ocean. Fun!
